ENERGY STAR Contractor of The Year
It’s official. GreenSavers won the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Contractor of the Year - Sustained Excellence Award. This is the highest honor bestowed by the ENERGY STAR program.
No other contractor in the country has earned the Contractor of the Year title more times than GreenSavers. This marks the eighth year in a row. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy chose GreenSavers from more than 1,300 contractors across the country.
The Equivalent of 94 Net Zero Energy Homes
Last year alone, GreenSavers completed energy saving projects that prevented 822 tons of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. That’s the equivalent of retrofitting 94 average homes so that they have no net energy consumption, no energy bills, and no carbon emissions.
“As we accelerate historic efforts to address climate change, public-private partnerships will be essential to realizing the scale of our ambition,” said EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan. “I applaud this year’s ENERGY STAR award winners for working with EPA to deliver a clean energy future that saves American consumers and businesses money and creates jobs.”
The ENERGY STAR Contractor of the Year - Sustained Excellence Award recognizes the leadership of contractors with a long-term commitment to fighting climate change through energy efficiency.
GreenSavers continues to demonstrate national leadership through local action. Since 2007, they have helped thousands of homeowners in Portland and Central Oregon to cut carbon emissions and monthly utility bills. GreenSavers is best known for completing whole-home electrification projects, which include energy efficient HVAC, insulation, and windows.
