GreenSavers is now a four-time winner of the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Contractor of the Year Award. In 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) chose GreenSavers from more than 1,450 contractors across the country. The award recognizes continued leadership in energy efficiency and commitment to the ENERGY STAR program.

In 2018, GreenSavers completed 650 projects for homeowners in Oregon with total energy savings of almost 700,000 kWh. That’s enough energy to completely offset the energy used by 59 average homes for a year, eliminating about 500 metric tons of CO2.

GreenSavers stands out as one of only two contractors in the country to earn the Contractor of the Year Award for four years in a row. And as a four-time winner, GreenSavers received the additional honor of the 2019 Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award from U.S. EPA and U.S. DOE.

“I applaud the 2019 ENERGY STAR Award Winners,” said EPA Assistant Administrator for Air and Radiation Bill Wehrum. “Their innovation and leadership enhance America’s economic competitiveness. Reducing costly energy waste improves air quality and public health while protecting the environment.”
