One of the Best Green Workplaces in Oregon

Oregon Business Magazine received more than 15,000 anonymous surveys from employees across Oregon this year. In the surveys, employees rated their satisfaction with sustainable practices at the companies and nonprofits where they work.

How do our employees feel about the importance of and support for sustainability at GreenSavers?

While the surveys are anonymous, the overall results are clear: GreenSavers stands out as one of the 100 Best Green Workplaces in Oregon.

We’re a mission driven company, where everyone works together to build a better future.

Our mission is to improve lives, inspire our team, and support our communities by building in a better, more holistic way.

If you want to look back on your career and feel proud of the work that you did, we hope you’ll peruse our open positions and get in touch. Even if you don’t see an open position that fits your skills and experience, we’re growing fast and always looking for new team members who care.

What’s it like to work at GreenSavers?

“Anything you need, I’m there for you”

“We all have very diverse backgrounds, and we all have different strengths that we can call upon in support of the larger mission. Upper management is super supportive and approachable– it’s like “anything you need, I’m there for you, I want to see you grow in this position.” I haven't worked here that long, but I see a lot of potential for big growth, and I feel excited about that.”

- Chantell Pedraza, PDX Internal Project Coordinator

“supportive, friendly coworkers and colleagues”

“GreenSavers is a great work environment with supportive, friendly coworkers and colleagues. Our mission and what we’re doing is awesome because of the positive impact on the environment. Awesome to work in a multicultural setting with a lot of people from different backgrounds and speaking different languages. It’s refreshing and exciting.”

- Alec Home, PDX Field Team Manager

“every day is something new”

“Working at Greensavers, every day is something new for me, and I love the challenge. I love being able to work with my dad and my brother, too - plus it’s great to be able to practice my English with different clients.”

- Valeria Silva, PDX Installer

“creative problem solving and collaboration”

“Approaching structures with the ethos that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts– that’s something that’s always appealed to me about our holistic home performance approach. Using that approach allows us to better serve individual homes, the larger community, and as such, the world. And because we do all that work in-house, it gives me the utmost confidence in the integrity of our installs, and supports opportunities to develop awesome client relationships.

We have an integrated team that allows for creative problem solving and collaboration– it makes me better as a professional and as a person, and provides our clients with peace of mind. I appreciate the connection between leadership and the rest of the organization. It shows a commitment to the mission, and it feels good to know who you’re working for and what you’re working toward.”

- Megan Cummings, Bend Senior Home Performance Consultant

“I’ve gained a community of friends here”

“I’ve worked for GreenSavers for so long - seven years - because they’ve always cared about my growth. I’ve invested in this company and they’ve invested in me, it’s always been a good relationship. They’ve allowed me to have a ton of creative freedom and have always allowed me to design processes the way that makes sense for me - it’s been a huge learning experience. I’ve been able to grow at the rate I want to grow.

I consider this to be my work family – I’ve gained a community of friends here, we have this common value of teamwork that keeps us connected. The only way to get through challenges is to combine as a team, and I know that together we’re always gonna come up with a solution, no matter what the job is.”

- Josh Edinger, Bend Field Supervisor
