CORONAVIRUS RESOURCE PAGE
There’s a lot going on right now, and we hope that you and your family are staying safe from the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). That’s the most important thing.
Please know that GreenSavers is here to help however we can. If you have questions about keeping your home safe and comfortable, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Some people are getting in touch to start new projects. We’ll keep this page updated with what you should know about home construction in the coming weeks and months.
Our team is committed to providing essential services while doing everything possible to stop the spread of Coronavirus. We’re making critical changes to the way we operate. Here are some questions you may have:
We offer virtual estimates in Central Oregon. If you want an overview of costs (including financing), tax credits, and cash incentives for a project, please schedule a virtual estimate with one of our consultants.
For a successful virtual estimate, you’ll need:
A charged smart phone or tablet
Reliable internet access
Tape measure
Phone or camera to take and share pictures
A headlamp isn’t necessary, but it may be helpful
With the right guidelines, we believe it is safe to do some home projects while protecting the health of your family and the workers.
We understand that the situation on the ground and the guidelines provided by the CDC will change, and as needed, we will continue to adapt our operations. Here are the steps we’re taking to minimize the spread of any contagions.
Monitor: Stay up to date on the latest CDC prevention guidelines regarding the spread of both the COVID-19 virus and the flu.
Adapt: Follow CDC and Oregon Health Authority guidelines regarding interpersonal interactions. This means we are going to try to keep 6 ft of space between people while we’re at your home, and we will not be giving our normal friendly handshakes.
Protect: Wear masks and gloves anytime we are in a home. If you would like to have a mask-free conversation with one of our team members, we ask that you go outside and stay at a safe distance.
Sanitize: Provide hand sanitizer and encouraging frequent hand washing throughout our team.
Isolate: Identify and isolate anyone with symptoms of any cold or flu. Even if it seems more like a common cold, we’re being extra cautious to put those employees on paid sick leave and not having them visit clients’ homes.
Reschedule: Ask our clients to let us know how they’re feeling. Please let us know if anyone in your house is high risk or immunocompromised. Also, for the sake of our team, let us know if anyone is feeling sick; if it seems prudent, it is easy for us to reschedule at a later date.
Accommodate: Have extra sensitivity to clients’ needs and requests. Want us to go through the back door? Stay out of the upstairs? Try to take those measurements from outside? Don't worry, just ask! We understand this is a sensitive time and we are committed to working hard to make everyone feel as safe and comfortable as possible.
If circumstances change and you need to postpone a project, we understand and will do our best to accommodate your new timeline. There is no financial penalty for postponing a project. The first step is to contact your project manager.
We do not currently anticipate delays related to Coronavirus. Our suppliers are committed to supporting us throughout this crisis, and GreenSavers stands out as a vertically-oriented home performance contractor. That means that we have team members on staff to handle almost every aspect of a project, so we have more control than others over how and when projects are completed.
